508 E. Cooper Avenue, Aspen

Wedged between 3 zero lot line buildings, 508 E. Cooper Avenue is an 11,000 sf mixed-use building designed by New York’s Ike Kligerman Barkley and Aspen’s Poss Architecture, which contains a three level luxury residence and two levels of retail/commercial. PCL Construction scraped and replaced this downtown icon between 2010 and 2012.

625 E. Hyman Ave, Aspen

Affectionately known as “Muse”, this downtown mixed-use building is the sibling of a project that brought the Aspen Art Museum into town. Containing 1 penthouse residence and three levels of commercial, this recognizable steel and glass masterpiece was designed by New York’s Ike Kligerman Barkley. Local contractor, Harriman Construction, completed this project in 2014

Aspen Core, Aspen

A block and a half from the gondola, the Aspen Core building took the place of an underused 9,000 sf parking lot. Designed by New York’s Ike Kligerman Barkley and built by Harriman Construction, this 37,000 sf infill project contains two penthouse apartments and 22,000 sf of commercial and retail area. The project also included a careful restoration of Aspen’s cherished Benton Building, for which it earned an award from the City’s Historic Preservation Commission.

Victorian Square, Aspen

Located on the corner of Hyman and Hunter, this downtown project was designed by Aspen’s Rowland Broughton and built by GF Woods Construction. Totaling 13,000 sf, this scrape-and-replace mixed-use project contains one 2,500 sf penthouse and another 7,500 sf of retail and commercial.

Starwood Fire Station, Pitkin County

E. Hyman Ave, Aspen

This highly technical, approximate 3,000 sf penthouse remodel involved the removal of the roof of a mixed-use building… while remaining occupied. Hansen Construction teamed up with Rowland+Broughton Architects to pull off this incredible feat.

Maroon Creek Club, Aspen

Aspen’s exclusive Maroon Creek Club lounge and pool updates will add amenities and capacity to an already amazing experience. Poss Architecture and DHM Design have teamed up on this project, which will be built by Koru Construction.
