Don Carpenter, Principal

Don’s background in real estate development started with the commercial and resort developer, Hines, with projects including Aspen Highlands Village and River Valley Ranch. After a two-year assignment in Stowe, VT on the master-planned project Spruce Peak at Stowe, Don joined the development firm Steeplechase Partners out of Aspen. Don formed Project Resource Company in 2009, representing developers and owners on infill and residential projects in Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley.

Outside of work, Don and his wife Kallie spend their time shuttling their two boys to and from various activities, while seizing every opportunity to take advantage of all the wonders Colorado’s spectacular environment has to offer.


Richard Kihnley, Development Manager

Richard has 30 plus years in construction project management. After 17 years in the commercial field in South Florida, Richard moved to the Roaring Fork Valley to manage both commercial and residential projects. In 2018, Richard joined Project Resource Company, working with developers and owners as a development/construction manager on projects in the Roaring Fork Valley.

Richard and his wife Kimberly are raising two kids, and enjoy living and recreating in the amazing Colorado mountains.

Chad Roach, Development Manager

Chad’s construction and development management experience spans 20 years in Colorado. Chad has worked in various construction and development management roles focused on single family residences, multi-family, high-end commercial/residential, and energy development. Chad’s career in construction started in the engineering field services sector before he transitioned into construction management position on a multi-family master development on Colorado’s front range. After moving to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2005, Chad expanded his project management and development skills through a variety of projects, from high-end commercial/residential to numerous renewable energy development projects.

When not working Chad and his wife Megan spend time raising their two boys, and enjoying all things outdoors throughout Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West.
